Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 3rd shift. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility while performing routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the building and warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with conveyor systems and a working knowledge of building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on facility systems and equipment.
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, ventilation, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on conveyor systems and related equipment.
Monitor building systems to identify maintenance needs and ensure safe operation.
identifying and correcting potential hazards.
Remove snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks, entrances, and dock areas when necessary.
Move furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with material handling equipment.
Set up and remove tables, chairs, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment for meetings and special events.
Maintain inventory and request cleaning supplies, tools, and maintenance materials as needed.
Assist with restoration and cleaning activities following fire, smoke, or water damage incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.Experience maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems is highly desirable.General knowledge of:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing
- Fire protection systems
- Building maintenance
- Workplace safety practices
Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work requires moderate muscular exertion and/or physical strain such as frequently climbing or, recurring bending, lifting, or lowering of items weight up to 50 pounds.
Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
