JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing inventory control, material handling, warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations to ensure the accurate and timely movement of goods throughout the organization. This role provides leadership and guidance to team members while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. The ideal candidate will have inventory management experience; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates with strong leadership potential and a willingness to learn.
 
Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
Rate: $26
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead daily inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure efficient movement of products and materials.
  • Ensure the accurate shipment and receipt of goods to and from various locations.
  • Demonstrate and provide leadership in logistics, supply chain, materials management, and distribution/transportation processes to support business requirements.
  • Oversee material handling and warehousing functions, including receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Verify quantities, part numbers, destinations, and delivery timelines using various source documents and inventory records.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation processes.
  • Operate and train team members on equipment used for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, and shipping materials.
  • Demonstrate and enforce the safe operation, basic servicing, and proper use of mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment within the warehouse environment.
  • Complete and oversee specialized clerical, reporting, and documentation duties related to inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Support management with additional duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years' relevant experience
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to read/write and interpret documents
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Logistics experience preferred
  • Understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and distribution processes.
  • Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
  • Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
  • Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
