JOB SUMMARY

Prepares, analyzes, and maintains reports and metrics for talent acquisition. Coordinates recruitment programs, functions, and projects to support talent acquisition and on-boarding.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical support for talent acquisition and staffing functions and processes (e.g., employee referral, sourcing, background screening, relocation, on-boarding) across current and future platforms. Coordinates documentation, communication, tracking, processing, analysis and reporting.
  • Tracks, analyzes and reports all key performance indicators for talent acquisition and staffing. Generates standard and ad-hoc reports. 
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors (e.g., contingent staffing, advertising, relocation), to coordinate contracts, track expenses to budget, maintain end-user profiles, and facilitate resolution of issues. 
  • Documents and maintains standard operating procedures and work flows for talent acquisition function. Evaluates and facilitates the automation of processes.
  • Compiles, documents and responds to requests from external agencies regarding employment metrics to ensure compliance.
  • Researches best practices and implements process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness and support compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Determines applicants' qualification by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualfiications to job requirements.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.  Arranges travel, lodging and meals, escorts applicants to interviews and arranges community tours.
  • Prepares offer letters and correspondence with new hires as needed. Assists with on-boarding.
  • Tracks and processes invoices for talent acquisition and staffing vendors. Analyzes spend to budget, researches and resolves discrepancies, and prepares and maintains budget forecast.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; and conducting training.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience in recruiting and/or human resources systems required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Vendor management and contract administration experience preferred
  • HR experience in HRIS, applicant tracking systems and/or recruitment preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
