Warehouse Associate Lead - Starting at $19.50

To prepare shipments for export by ensuring proper packaging, part accuracy, and documentation (invoices and pack lists) for custom’s clearance on behalf of the client.  This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating pick up times with freight carriers, providing SLI’s, AWB’s, and ITN’s for all shipments.   Following all packaging guidelines for multiple countries as well as preparing excel summary documents for consolidations.   This position requires physical labor as well as clerical work.


  • Ensure all orders are correct (may include packing duties) and have proper COO labels on all parts
  • Use client system to generate packing lists and invoices
  • Coordinate pick up of cargo with freight carriers
  • Provide SLI’s (shipper letter of instruction), AWB’s (air way bills) for Custom’s clearance
  • File AES (ITN’s) for exports over $2500 USD
  • Load shipments on LTL carriers
  • Meter (ship) using UPS, DHL, and FedEx
  • Maintain logs for shipments that are on hold awaiting carrier information
  • Assist with client custom’s audits
  • Answer email enquiries from the client regarding shipments


  • Warehouse/shipping experience
  • Ability to make effective decisions and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills—attention to detail a must
  • Ability to function in a team environment
  • Proficient computer skills—MS Office, Baan or SAP a plus



Ensures that shipment or receipt of goods to or from various locations is accomplished.  Demonstrates and leads with a sound knowledge of logistic and supply chain, material management, and distribution/transportation processes and policies to meet the business requirements. 


  • Demonstrate and lead the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Demonstrate and lead work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing. 
  • Demonstrate and lead the uses of machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.   
  • Demonstrate and lead the use, safe operation, and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and or electrical equipment in the facilities work environment.
  • Demonstrate and lead the performance of specialized clerical, and documentation duties.
  • Demonstrate and lead in other duties as assigned by management.


  • 1-3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read/write and interpret documents.


  • Warehouse experience.
  • Logistics experience.


Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.


  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas.
