Task Force / Continuous Improvement Manager 

Job Summary 


Responsible for Task Force Projects in support of business metrics through Facility Health, Quality, Inventory Excellence and Operations Success.  Incumbent will partner with Operations to achieve excellence through the utilization of the Neovia Operating System.     The primary services supported include inventory auditing, consolidation and letdown procedures, location optimization, standard work optimization/creation and data analysis for problem solving. 


Essential Functions 


1. Facilitate, investigate and diagnose quality & customer complaints, track down components, and recommend corrective actions through traditional problem solving processes. 


2. Verify logs, databases, and other data to track, flag and report on quality, including customer and other operational concerns. 


3. Manage work groups focused on facilitating the culture supporting the company’s systems. To include writing, maintenance, and dissemination of company operational systems. 


4. Work with organization members to identify quality problems, audit and improve 

operational processes. 


5. Diagnose problems through the use of Data analysis and communicate to Management with a clear and concise message. 


Minimum Requirements 

1. Bachelor’s degree, in relevant field preferred 

2. Travel + 75% throughout North America in support of Neovia Facilities 

3. Warehouse experience, 3-5yrs 

3. Logistics experience, 3-5yrs 

4. Working knowledge of SAP, Red Prairie and other modern WMS systems.

Physical Requirements 

1. Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping. 

2. Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight. 

3. Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor. 

4. Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.


Responsible for delivering the Neovia Operating system throughout the Company, through direct involvement with projects and initiatives, but also through training and mentorship of colleagues.


  • Contributes to the maintenance and governance of the Global NOS Policy by writing policy, delivering training and taking part in, or managing, projects.
  • Contributes to the rewriting of yellow/green/ black belt training material
  • Contributes to the rewriting of sponsor training material
  • Ensures the facilities are prepared to deliver yellow belt training as required
  • Delivers green / black belt training
  • Delivers Project Sponsor training
  • Delivers the Facility Certification Program, assesses facilities for compliance to Bronze, Silver, Gold level
  • Mentoring of green belts regionally
  • Is the first point of contact, through the NOS mailbox, for questions relating to NOS.
  • Leads project of a medium scale, assists in the leadership of large global projects
  • Responsible. for maintaining NOS and EHS website and security website on SharePoint
  • Responsible for safety quality campaign material aimed at operations
  • Co-ordinates communication for the group –organizes  conference calls etc
  • Help to support Business Development and Solutions team with information on NOS for RFQs.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, or related mathematical field


  • Six Sigma NOS Green Belt certified


Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
