Inventory Accuracy Auditor

JOB SUMMARY

Supports the Neovia goal of minimizing exposure to financial risk from inventory shortages achieved by performing the full audit cycle, including risk assessment of operations inventory controls and KPI results, to identify controls gaps.   Audit results are the early warning mechanism to identify facilities challenged by process gaps affecting inventory accuracy. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts on-site compliance and risk audits of inventory accuracy controls processes and results.
  • Evaluates the efficacy of facilities’ existing risk management procedures and identifies processes that require change or implementation.
  • Ensures that the operation is complying with standard work elements for ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy, protect against preventable Neovia financial risk and loss of the client’s assets.
  • Presents findings to Facility management for confirmation and finalization.
  • Uses assessment results to formulate corrective action recommendations for IAC specialists and Management, on remediation plan development used to improve internal controls and governance processes.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with all levels of personnel.
  • Produces detailed reports.
  • Participates in Analysis of metrics with the IAC Inventory Specialist.
  • Provides input to Global IAC meetings.
  • Must be flexible with working hours.
  • Travel may be in excess of 75% across the US sites, some global travel may be necessary.
     

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent 4 plus years audit/inventory experience preferably in a logistics environment.
  • Ability to understand and interpret metrics and KPI results.
  • Strong communication both verbal and written.
  • WMS user knowledge SAP / other.
  • Excellent time management and personal organisation.
  • Ability to write professional reports.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Prepared to travel at short notice.
  • Capable of working with minimum supervision when required.
  • Valid Passport.
  • Valid US Drivers License.

Additional desired experience / qualifications:

  • Audit qualification or experience.
  • Operations experience.
  • Presentation experience.
     

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
