  • The IT Contracts & Financial Analyst (CFA) is part of the IT Business Services group and is responsible for IT contract management and financial reporting.  Managing negotiations for IT based services, conducting RFP’s, providing financial reporting, spend-pattern and anomalies analyses are ongoing responsibilities. 
  • Primarily independent. Oversees some cross-functional projects, relied upon to answer complex questions, and perhaps assists with some cross-regional projects. Secondary trainer of new team members. 


  • Proactively collaborate with various IT functions on contractual needs, while ensuring alignment with their respective objectives and strategies.
  • Perform and oversee responsibilities associated with full life cycle contract and vendor management to include yet not limited to negotiations, renewals, terminations, etc.
  • Ensure the timely completion and approval of finalized contractual agreements, ensuring relevant delays are well documented and approved by leadership.
  • Review and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA) with business domains, and take appropriate actions as needed (e.g., terminations, cost savings implementations, etc.).
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive contract and vendor management program, to include the draft, review, approval, and management processes.
  • Proactively provide accurate financial, analytical and trending data, prepare reports, and make recommendations for a variety of reasons and audiences (e.g., audit, budget, strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, etc.).
  • Proactively identify, capture, and present opportunities for improvement and participate in process improvement projects when requested.
  • Implement and oversee departmental cost control measures.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and tangible outputs. Rely on industry standards, best practices, and qualitative & quantitative data to support and/or refine methodologies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Management or Finance) or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ IT experience.
  • At least 3 years of recent IT contract review, vendor management and governance experience.
  • At least 3 years of recent experience with contract renewal, negotiation, and termination.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) and familiarity with contract and vendor management systems a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of industry standards, vendor capabilities, and success at improving internal processes.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization, and with external vendors and regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to swiftly shift approach based on audience.
  • Critical thinking abilities using fact-based troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate complex issues/solutions in a manner that is easily understood and actionable despite the audience.
  • Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires the management of multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels.
  • Must have the ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently, have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills and pay specific attention to details.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism, deliver results, despite organizational noise.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of extremely sensitive data at all times.
  • Must have strong analytical skills,
  • Working knowledge and prior usage of Ariba’s Contract Management System is a plus. 


Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
