JOB SUMMARY

Contributes to the strategy development and execution of key transactions that will enable organic and inorganic growth for Neovia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the strategy development of Neovia. Members of the group are leading a broad range of projects with strategic importance for Neovia, including strategy development, financial analysis, M&A assignments, strategic planning, and market research. Senior Managers are expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, to provide critical strategic thinking and to lead global initiatives.
  • Projects will focus on diagnosing and developing solutions for business challenges faced by the Company and will involve significant interaction with Neovia’s executives and business leaders.
  • Develops and maintains an M&A pipeline for the Company
  • Updates strategy documents for the company and – in the future – for regions
  • Develops relationships with outside service providers such as banks and consultants
  • Leads all aspects of assigned transactions through completion
  • Becomes a project or integration manager after a deal is signed
  • Manages a due diligence process once a target is identified
  • Performs financial analysis for transactions
  • Possesses the ability to manage several projects at the same time

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or accounting with an MBA from a leading school
  • Minimum of five years of work experience in the consulting, banking, or Big 4 accounting firms
  • Three or more years of direct M&A or strategy experience 
  • Significant financial acumen including strong modelling and financial skills
  • Strong strategic thinking with experience in development and implementation of strategies.
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills to facilitate change within the organization preferred.
  • Must be adept at market research, due diligence, transaction structuring, negotiation and collaboration with other internal stakeholders to pull everything together towards finding a solution. Must be able to see the whole picture, orchestrate process and drive to conclusion
  • Possesses excellent business skills and understands the levers to deliver profitable growth.
  • Possesses the ability to envision both short and long-term market potential and business opportunities.
  • Has the critical ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
  • Possesses expert knowledge of computer-based analytical tools such as Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems efficiently.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned, including overnight and international travel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
