JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Specialist supports daily operations by ensuring product accuracy, inventory integrity, and process compliance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, hands‑on experience with parts, and an understanding of how components fit and function.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
What You Will do:
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts, kits, and inventory meet accuracy and condition standardsIdentify defects, discrepancies, and process gaps; document and escalate issues as needed
- Review inventory movement, slotting, and product flow to support operational efficiency
- Reconcile inventory variances using system data and physical counts
- Analyze forecasts, trends, and recurring quality issues to support continuous improvement
- Communicate findings clearly through professional email and system documentation
- Partner with teams to resolve issues and prevent reoccurrence
- Support grief resolution (root cause analysis and corrective actions)
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a distribution environment
- SAP experience a must
- Strong computer, analytical, and data entry skills
- Good communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently
- Ability to manage and prioritize time and tasks
- Possess a customer-oriented attitude
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work requires moderate muscular exertion and/or physical strain such as frequently climbing or, recurring bending, lifting, or lowering of items weight up to 50 pounds.
