Title: IT Network & Infrastructure Support Analyst I
JOB SUMMARY
The IT Network Analyst I is an entry-level role within the Network Services team, responsible for supporting the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, whilst delivering first-class customer support to end-users, sites, and operations. This position is ideal for recent graduates looking to enter the network space, building hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies in a collaborative environment.
The role will focus on a mix of customer support and assisting network engineers with project work and day-to-day operations, contributing to a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment. Candidates will gain exposure to LAN/WAN, SASE, wireless networks, network security, and network monitoring tools while developing technical and professional skills. The role also offers cross-functional exposure with IT Infrastructure, Applications, and Operational teams, giving the candidate an opportunity to gain experience in VM’s, cloud, identify, security, SQL, AI, and development environments, whilst developing with peers in other ‘recent graduate’ positions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Support & Operations
- Support end users, sites, and operations, ensuring customer service is a priority
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment (switches, routers, wireless access points), with potential travel in the US region for deployment and troubleshooting exercises.
- Support day-to-day network operations, including monitoring performance, preventive maintenance, and responding to issues.
- Help troubleshoot basic connectivity, hardware, and performance problems under guidance from senior engineers.
- Assist with firewall and network access changes following established procedures.
Project Support
- Support network deployment activities for site implementations and upgrades.
- Assist with gathering requirements and documenting network configurations.
- Participate in implementation activities including setup, testing, and validation of network solutions.
- Help create and maintain documentation for network installations and changes.
Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor and help to maintain network systems using standard tools (Zabbix, CATO) and escalate issues as needed.
- Assist with maintaining network documentation, diagrams, and inventory records.
- Help ensure systems align with company standards for security and performance.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with network engineers, IT teams, and external vendors to support project delivery.
- Engage in cross-functional activities with key teams (IT Infrastructure, Applications, Operational Technology)
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge through training, certifications, and hands-on experience.
- Learn through exposure; support tickets, meetings, documentation, articles, senior team members, AI.
- Have an appetite to push the boundaries with AI tools such as Claude, CoPilot, and Cursor
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent academic experience).
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts such as:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- LAN/WAN fundamentals
- Basic wireless networking concepts
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Internship, lab experience, or academic projects related to networking.
- Entry-level certifications such as CCNA (or in progress).
- Exposure to networking tools or technologies (e.g., Wireshark, UniFi, or similar platforms).
- Familiarity with basic security concepts and best practices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
ADDITIONAL INFO
- Primarily office-based with occasional lifting of light equipment (up to 15 lbs).
- May require limited travel for site support or training opportunities.
- Occasional off-hours work may be required to support deployments.
- Travel across the US based on progress and ability to support activities on site.
