JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, inspection, and basic servicing of mechanical, motorized, and electrical warehouse equipment. This role supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, handling, and shipping goods while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Stand-Up Forklifts, and Sit-Down Forklifts.
Schedule: 6am - 2pm M - F
Pay rate: $ 22.00
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate warehouse equipment including Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Stand-Up Forklifts, Sit-Down Forklifts, dollies, and hand trucks.

Ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of goods to and from various warehouse locations.

Load and unload materials from trailers, ensuring proper procedures when entering and exiting trailers.

Perform material handling tasks related to receiving, processing, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, and supplies.

Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure the safety of all personnel within designated equipment operating zones.

Verify quantities, part numbers, destinations, and timing using source documents prior to material movement.

Utilize equipment such as scales, banding machines, wrappers, and packaging systems as required.

Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.

Demonstrate knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, material handling, and distribution/transportation processes.

Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Lead by example in safe work practices and support team members as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years' experience in warehousing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
Preferred:
- Logistics experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
- Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
- Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
- Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
