JOB SUMMARY

Plan, coordinate, and assist with execution and implementation with regards to the business processes that need to be installed from a warehouse operations perspective. In that function, he/she is working closely together with his counterparts within the operations community as well as counterparts within the IT department. Handles simple to medium complex projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop processes and procedures to enhance and optimize warehouse logistics operations in line with our standard service offering and the business requirements of the client
  • Develop and review layouts of warehouse logistics flows and warehouse space
  • Conduct process design reviews to secure approvals
  • Lead the testing efforts from a warehouse perspective
  • Provide training and training documentation to workforce to who the solution  will be deployed
  • Provide extensive go-live support during production implementation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (degree in Logistics/ Industrial Engineering); Master's degree is highly desirable
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience of logistics processes
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with little supervision
  • Operational management experience is a competitive advantage
  • Knowledge of a Warehouse Management System and Labor Management System (SAP WM, Red Prairie, etc.)
  • Excellent PC skill in MS Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, AutoCAD
  • MTM / MOST training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
