JOB SUMMARY
Plan, coordinate, and assist with execution and implementation with regards to the business processes that need to be installed from a warehouse operations perspective. In that function, he/she is working closely together with his counterparts within the operations community as well as counterparts within the IT department. Handles simple to medium complex projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop processes and procedures to enhance and optimize warehouse logistics operations in line with our standard service offering and the business requirements of the client
- Develop and review layouts of warehouse logistics flows and warehouse space
- Conduct process design reviews to secure approvals
- Lead the testing efforts from a warehouse perspective
- Provide training and training documentation to workforce to who the solution will be deployed
- Provide extensive go-live support during production implementation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (degree in Logistics/ Industrial Engineering); Master's degree is highly desirable
- 1 to 3 years’ experience of logistics processes
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with little supervision
- Operational management experience is a competitive advantage
- Knowledge of a Warehouse Management System and Labor Management System (SAP WM, Red Prairie, etc.)
- Excellent PC skill in MS Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, AutoCAD
- MTM / MOST training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
