JOB SUMMARY

The IT Architect – Integration plays a critical role in designing, developing, and leading end-to-end integration solutions that support Neovia’ s global supply chain operations. This role combines deep hands-on development expertise with strong architectural leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integrations across enterprise systems, partner platforms, and customer-facing applications.

The architect will guide technical teams, set integration standards, and ensure alignment with IT and business strategies. In addition to advanced skills in Software AG (webMethods) and modern integration technologies, this position requires a solid understanding of supply chain business processes—including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment—to design solutions that drive operational efficiency and enable seamless data flow across the enterprise.

Acting as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, the Integration Architect translates complex requirements into practical technical designs, leads development and implementation efforts, and ensures integrations support mission-critical logistics operations. This individual will champion best practices, govern API and integration lifecycles, and provide thought leadership to help shape Neovia’s integration roadmap and digital transformation initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Integration Architecture & Strategy

  • Lead the design and architecture of enterprise integration solutions using IBM Software AG / webMethods.
  • Define integration standards, patterns, best practices, and governance for the organization.
  • Develop integration roadmaps supporting digital transformation, modernization, and business growth initiatives.
  • Ensure architectures align with enterprise strategies, security policies, and technology standards.
  • Evaluate new integration technologies, tools, and frameworks (API gateways, iPaaS, cloud integration, etc.).

Platform Administration & Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee administration of the Software AG / webMethods platform, including server management, configurations, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Manage platform installations, upgrades, patches, and environment refreshes to ensure stability, security, and compliance with vendor standards.
  • Handle license management, including monitoring license usage, forecasting future needs, and coordinating with vendors and procurement teams.
  • Maintain environment governance, including development, QA, staging, and production integration landscapes.
  • Ensure high availability, resilience, disaster recovery readiness, and proper capacity planning.

Solution Design & Development

  • Design and develop integration flows, orchestrations, adapters, services, and APIs using Software AG webMethods Integration Server, API Gateway, Trading Networks, and Universal Messaging.
  • Implement integration patterns including event-driven, API-led, pub/sub, batch, messaging, and real-time streaming.
  • Translate business requirements into high-performing, scalable integration architectures and detailed technical specifications.
  • Develop reusable components, templates, connectors, and integration frameworks.

Systems Integration & Delivery

  • Lead integration solution delivery across multiple applications, ERPs, cloud platforms, data systems, and external partners.
  • Oversee integration testing, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance across integration environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers, data architects, infrastructure, and security.

Governance, Standards & Support

  • Establish and enforce integration governance, including versioning, API lifecycle management, and documentation standards.
  • Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to developers and technical teams.
  • Support production integration issues by diagnosing root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure integrations comply with security, compliance, and data privacy requirements (e.g., encryption, authentication, auditing).

Quality & Standards Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and Neovia’s internal methodologies.
  • Utilize TFS and GitHub for version control, source management, and deployment coordination.
  • Manage application deployments and configurations using IIS (Internet Information Services).

Customer Service & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and measurable, high-quality outputs.
  • Use qualitative and quantitae & Continuous Improvementtive data to support continuous improvement and refine operational methodologies.
  • Provide proactive support, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization for existing systems and applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture, design, and development.
  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Software AG / webMethods, including Integration Server, API Gateway, MWS, UM, and Trading Network
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns (EIP) and architectural styles:
    • Event-driven architecture
    • SOA / microservices
    • Publish/subscribe
    • Message queuing
    • Synchronous/asynchronous patterns
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale integration solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • 8+ Experience with high-volume, mission-critical system integrations and performance optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, B2B/EDI integrations, REST/SOAP services, messaging standards, and data transformation.
  • Expertise with JSON, XML, XSLT, flat file processing, and mapping frameworks.
  • Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, certificate management

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in Software AG / webMethods platform, including Integration Server, API Gateway, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, and webMethods.io.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, including event-driven, publish/subscribe, microservices, API-led, and asynchronous messaging models.
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing REST/SOAP APIs, orchestrations, mappings, adapters, and B2B/EDI integrations.
  • Proficiency in XML, JSON, flat-file processing, XSLT, and complex transformation logic.
  • Skilled in integration platform administration, including configuration, monitoring, clustering, performance tuning, upgrades, and patching.
  • Experience with license management, environment governance, and capacity planning for integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud integration, including containerization, virtualization, and API management services.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, including OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, certificate management, and secure data exchange.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and version control tools such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to integrate with ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, and other supply chain systems across diverse environments.
